We visit three estates, with tastings at each stop and a light farm-style lunch in between. Farms on the route include Beaumont Family Wines, Wildekrans, Anysbos, Goedvertrouw and Arcangeli, among others - we curate the day based on availability and what’s pouring.

A full-day meander into the cool-climate Elgin Valley - a high-altitude wine region 420 m above sea level, known for producing some of South Africa’s finest Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. The Elgin Highlands attract a different kind of winemaker: considered, often boutique, and deeply connected to the land. We visit three estates across the valley, with guided tastings at each and a light lunch at one of the properties. Estates we work with include Paul Clüver, Oak Valley, Iona, and Almenkerk - the selection varies by season and availability.
