The Overberg is a wine destination that is fit for kings (and all the other royalty), wine connoisseurs, wine lovers and wine enthusiasts.
Our winemakers are passionate about what they do, and it can be tasted in what is produced. There is magic in the diverse ranges, and each wine farm offers a unique experience.
Our wine tours are not a hop on hop off tours, we take you off the beaten track to some of the smaller, bespoke cellars, that are currently making headlines with their versions of the nectar of the gods.
We spend a bit of time, try to catch the eye of the winemaker, and do our tasting at a leisurely pace.
We will customise your tour to make sure we incorporate your favorite cultivars. Choose from half a day to a full day tours.
Botrivier or Highlands Meander
Wine Tasting Tours
These two tours will take you to either the Botrivier area or the Highlands/Elgin area on a meander that will leave you wanting to taste more.
Taste 3 wines at 3 farms, or if you have more time, we can do 4 or 5 wines at 3 farms with a light lunch added.
(Depending on time, we can add another farm)

Add a tasting box to pair with the wines we taste on this trip – ZAR 300 per box. (Tasting boxes are not applicable at all wine farms, and we will advise you where and when it can be added)
Heaven and Earth Valley Wine Tour
In this tour, we approach the valley from the Afdaksrivier end. There is so much to do and to taste that we have made a selection of wine tastings paired with some of the best views of the valley.
Our 3 x 4/5 tour includes a light lunch, tasting 4 to 5 wines at 3 farms.
Yes, that will be up to 15 wines down the hatch!

The Perfect Pair at Iona
Abalone and bokkoms, Elgin Apples and local cheeses meet with award-winning wines from Iona Wine Farm in this small plate tasting experience at the beautiful Iona Wine Farm on the Highlands/Elgin Route.
