Our area takes its name from its location in relation  to Cape Town: over the Hottentot-Holland Mountains (over the berg), a mere 100 km from the mother city.

The Overberg boasts a rich mixture of natural beauty and uniqueness, and we are proud to have the Kogelberg Biosphere, a UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE, as our neighbor.

Kleinmond is fast becoming the ADVENTURE CAPITAL of the Overstrand, as it is a perfect hub from which to reach a wide variety of adventures and activities.
